About North Jersey Recovery Awareness Community
Founded by community members, for community members — dedicated to bringing hope, healing, and connection to North Jersey.
Our Story
North Jersey Recovery Awareness Community was born from a simple but powerful belief: no one should face addiction or mental health challenges alone. Founded by a group of North Jersey residents — many with lived experience — NJRAC grew from informal support circles into a regional platform connecting thousands of individuals, families, and advocates. We are not a clinical service. We are neighbors, friends, and community members who have walked this road and want to walk it with you.
Our Values
These principles guide everything we do at NJRAC.
Community
We are stronger together. Every voice matters, and every story deserves to be heard.
Hope
Recovery is possible. We hold hope for every person, even when they cannot hold it for themselves.
Compassion
We meet people where they are — without judgment, without conditions, with open hearts.
Empowerment
We believe in the strength within every individual to heal, grow, and thrive on their own terms.
